How do I register?
You may register via the registration link in the βJoin Now!β button and complete the application form.
Kindly note that only shortlisted participants will receive an official invitation via email.
How many members are there in 1 team?
Teams will consist of 5 members.
Do I need to have a full team (5 members) to register?
No, you may register as an individual. We will allocate team members curated based on profiles and backgrounds to ensure good diversity in team formations.
Team formations will be announced via email to notify participants of their allocated teams.
Is the event open to non-Malaysians?
At this time, the hackathon is open to Malaysian citizens only.
Can I still come even though I am not selected as a participant?
As we have limited slots available for this round, the hackathon is strictly by invitation only.
Is there a registration fee?
No, it is completely free-of-charge!
Iβm not a coder and not from a tech background. Can I still join?
Yes, we welcome participants from diverse backgrounds. You donβt need to be a coder to join. While teams will need coding expertise, other skills such as design, project management, research, or strategy are just as valuable. Team formations will be curated to ensure balance.
Can I change my team members after registering?
No, all teams will be set upon receipt of the confirmation email.

As Connexion is located at Bangsar South, it is accessible via both public transport and self-drive.

Must I be physically present on both hackathon days?
Yes, you are required to be physically present on both days of the hackathon, as this is a physical event.
Are there any resting areas allocated for participants to rest?
• Rest is important, and we need you to be re-energised for the challenge! There will be chill lounges and areas for you to rest up or even make new friends.
• Although accommodations are not provided, you may still bring your essentials (sleeping bag, comfy pillows, blanket or jacket) and stay overnight with us.
What will be provided for participants on the hackathon days?
• Exclusive swags, cloud credits, plenty of food and snacks to fill your tummy!
• Awesome experiences and networking opportunities!

• Kindly bring your own laptop and monitors, as they will NOT be provided.
How long is the hackathon?
This whole event is 2 Days 1 Night. Day 1 β 24 hours hacking, Day 2 β Submission + Winners Announcement.
How many tracks are there in the hackathon?
There will be 3 Tracks in total. Participants may choose ONE (1) track from the following to hack:
• Security and Fraud
• Financial Inclusion
• Innovation
Can I develop something outside of the tracks given?
No. To ensure fairness across all teams, only the provided tracks are accepted.
What are the expected deliverables?

• Prototype, etc.
How do we present our work?
After the physical 24-hours hacking on Day 1, participants will present and pitch on Day 2 during the semi-final round. Selected teams will proceed to the Finals and present on stage.
What should I bring on the hackathon days?
• Laptop and Charger
• Monitor (Optional)
• Anything to help you feel comfortable while hacking (pillow, plushie, powerbank, etc.)
